2. Definitions
- Conditions: These General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
- Customer: Any legal and legally competent natural person or legal entity placing an order (“you” / “your”).
- DG: DG Antwerpen BV (“we” / “us” / “our”).
- Goods: Pairs of cufflinks offered for sale via our website, including collection, ‘one of a kind’, and ‘limited edition’ pieces.
- Parties: The Customer and DG.
3. Applicability
The most recent version of the Conditions is available on our website under “General Terms and Conditions” in English only. These Conditions apply to all orders placed via our website, all offers, distance selling agreements, and invoices issued by DG. Acceptance of these Conditions excludes any other terms unless expressly agreed in writing.
Only natural persons aged 18 or older can place an order. Minors must be represented by a parent or guardian. By accepting the Conditions, the Customer confirms legal competence to place an order.
4. Offer, Placing an Order and Acceptance
The display of Goods on our website is an invitation to place an order. All descriptions and images aim to provide accurate information, but occasional errors may occur. DG is not liable for such errors.
To place an order, add items to the cart, proceed to checkout, provide billing/shipping details, accept the Conditions, choose a payment method, and confirm the order. DG will confirm the order in writing.
Limited edition or one-of-a-kind items are explicitly mentioned. Unavailability will be communicated promptly with a refund within 7 business days.
5. Our Goods
We offer only natural diamonds.
All our cufflinks are certified by IGI. For any piece of jewelry featuring a diamond of 1.00 carat or above, you will receive an individual stone certificate issued by one of the following laboratories: GIA, HRD, or IGI.
6. Delivery Time
- Belgium: Same-day delivery or pick-up on business days.
- Worldwide: 3–5 business days, fully insured, with dedicated support.
8. Prices
Prices include VAT and transit insurance costs but exclude shipping.
9. Shipment Cost and Insurance
Free overland shipping within Europe. Orders are insured during transit via our personal courier.
10. Payment and Invoice
Full payment is required at order. Accepted methods: Credit/Debit Cards, Bancontact, SEPA Direct Debit, Digital wallets. Payments in EUR. Card issuer terms apply.
11. VAT Refund
VAT refund is available if goods are exported outside the EU within three months. Proof of export and identity is required. Refund is issued by DG after confirmation.
12. Cleaning Instructions
Clean jewellery once a year to maintain its appearance.
13. Care Guidelines
Follow instructions for cleaning, storage, wearing, handling, and inspection. Professional maintenance services are recommended.
14. Warranty
Goods must be checked immediately upon receipt. Complaints about visible defects must be reported within 48 hours. Hidden defects must be reported within 8 days. Warranty excludes damage from misuse or unauthorized repairs.
15. Repair
Repairs outside warranty are at the Customer’s cost. Pieces should be returned securely insured to DG Antwerpen bv, Schupstraat 18-20, 2018 Antwerp, Belgium.
16. Liability
DG is liable only for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct, limited to the invoice value of the order. Indirect damages are excluded.
17. Force Majeure
DG is not liable for failure due to force majeure, including natural disasters, strikes, technological failures, illness, or supplier delays.
18. Antwerp's Most Brilliant
Since 2026, we are an Officially Certified Jeweller by Antwerp World Diamond Center and the City of Antwerp. David Gotlib will at all times operate in full compliance with the requirements of the Antwerp’s Most Brilliant quality label.
19. Privacy – Protection of Personal Data
We process your personal data according to our Privacy Statement.
20. Questions, Feedback, and Complaints
Feedback or complaints can be sent via email. We acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and aim to resolve promptly. Independent mediation and the EU ODR platform are available.
21. Severability
If any provision is illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid. Parties will replace invalid provisions in good faith.
22. Miscellaneous
Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
23. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
Belgian law governs all agreements. The Dutch-speaking courts of Antwerp have exclusive jurisdiction.
